Lacking a cohesive theme, the Hilton's identity has
been shaped by its Paradise Road location, which has
made it popular with conventioneers (the Las Vegas Convention
Center is right next door), and by its long association
with Elvis Presley, who performed in the hotel's showroom
the last eight years of his life (check out the bronze
statue of the King in the lobby).

The main casino is dominated by a 30,500-sq.-ft. race
and sports book, the largest in the world. It has a
video wall that is second in size only to the one at
NASA. Also impressive is the huge baccarat room, complete
with crystal chandeliers and velvet-covered furniture.
Massive chandeliers and gleaming marble are reminders
of the Hilton's once elevated status among Las Vegas'
elite resorts. A more recent addition is the Spacequest
casino, a futuristic gaming hall with clever sci-fi
touches, that also serves as the gateway to Star Trek:
The Experience, a marvelously themed entertainment complex
featuring dining, shopping, rare Trek memorabilia, a
motion simulator ride and the BORG 4D thrill ride. A
rotating cavalcade of headliners in the main showroom
provides the other entertainment in the Hilton, along
with artists such as '80s songstress Sheena Easton in
the intimate NightClub.
Directly off the Strip, the Las Vegas Hilton offers
well-suited rooms, fine entertainment, gourmet and themed
restaurants and an after-hours nightclub. Well into
its third decade of operation, the Las Vegas Hilton
remains one of Vegas' flagships. Dozens of things make
the Hilton unique, not the least of which is its connection
to the King: For the last eight years of his life Elvis
Presley performed in the showroom. The parade of distinctions
doesn't end there.
After hours, The Nightclub rocks with a bar, balcony
area, dance floor and more. Several restaurants, including
the award-winning Benihana Village, serve every taste.
Giant convention areas accommodate every imaginable
function -- from company Christmas parties to the Consumer
Electronics Show.
And that's before the Hilton pulls its trump card --
the amazing Star Trek: The Experience, which features
BORG Invasion 4D and Klingon Encounter, is an attraction
based on the television and film phenomenon that has
influenced generations. From the King of Rock 'n' Roll
to "Where None Have Gone Before," the Hilton
combines Vegas' past, present and future in a remarkable
way.
